After gaining attention in reality television, he moved into acting and appeared in several popular Indian television shows, including Anupamaa, Kundali Bhagya, and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Rishabh is known for his confident personality, stylish appearance, and interest in taking on different types of roles. His journey includes reality television, daily soap dramas, modelling, and digital entertainment. These experiences have helped him build a presence among television viewers and social media users.

One of his important acting roles was Krish Bansal in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The character gave him an opportunity to explore emotional storylines and reach a wider television audience. In April 2026, Rishabh announced his exit from the show, explaining later that he wanted to explore new creative opportunities.

In June 2026, he also spoke about his role in the digital project Tu Yaa Koi Nahi, directed by Ishika Shahi. In October 2026, he became part of the entertainment news cycle again after reports confirmed his wildcard entry into Rise & Fall Season 2.

Rishabh Jaiswal Early Life

Rishabh Jaiswal was born and raised in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Varanasi is known for its history, religious traditions, and cultural life. Although Rishabh later became involved in the entertainment industry, his early life was connected to this North Indian city.

He developed an interest in entertainment and public performance before establishing himself as an actor. Like many young people who want to work in the entertainment industry, he had to explore opportunities and find ways to get noticed.

Rishabh’s early career eventually brought him into contact with modelling, social media, and reality television. These platforms allowed him to introduce himself to audiences and develop his on-screen personality.

Reality shows can be demanding because contestants are expected to interact with other participants, handle disagreements, and remain comfortable in front of cameras. Rishabh’s participation in such programmes helped him gain experience in front of a national audience.

His early success in reality television later supported his move into acting. Instead of remaining limited to one entertainment format, he began working in scripted television, where actors must understand their characters and perform according to a story.

Rishabh has also spoken about the importance of stepping outside his comfort zone. This approach became particularly clear in 2026 when he decided to leave a regular television role and explore other projects.

Rishabh Jaiswal is reported to have completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi. His educational background is part of the information commonly shared in online biographical profiles.

A commerce degree generally covers subjects such as accounting, business, economics, and finance. However, Rishabh’s public career has focused on entertainment rather than a conventional business profession.

His entry into the entertainment industry shows that academic education and professional interests can follow different paths. A person may complete a university degree and later choose a career based on creative interests and available opportunities.

Rishabh has developed his professional experience through acting assignments, reality television appearances, and work in digital entertainment. These experiences have allowed him to understand different aspects of the industry, from performing for television audiences to working on more natural and character-focused digital projects.

Specific details about his school education and academic achievements are not widely documented in reliable public sources.

Rishabh Jaiswal Family

Rishabh Jaiswal has kept much of his family life away from regular media coverage. Although his professional activities are visible through television and social media, detailed information about his parents and siblings is limited.

His hometown is reported to be Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. However, the names, occupations, and personal backgrounds of his family members should not be stated without reliable confirmation.

Many television actors choose to keep their family members out of the public eye. This allows them to maintain some privacy while continuing to share updates about their careers.

Rishabh’s public identity is mainly connected to his work as an actor, model, and reality television personality. As his career develops, more information about his family may become available through interviews or statements he chooses to share.

For now, it is best to respect the privacy of his relatives and avoid repeating unverified claims about their personal lives.

Rishabh Jaiswal Career Journey

Early Career and Entry into Entertainment

Rishabh Jaiswal began building his identity in entertainment through modelling, social media, and opportunities in front of the camera. These early experiences helped him become more comfortable with public attention.

The entertainment industry offers different routes for newcomers. Some performers begin with films, while others gain experience through television, digital content, or reality programmes. Rishabh’s journey included reality television before he expanded his work into acting.

His confident screen presence and ability to interact with other people helped him attract attention in the reality television space.

MTV Splitsvilla X4

One of the important steps in Rishabh’s career was his participation in MTV Splitsvilla X4. The dating reality show brings together contestants who take part in challenges, form relationships, and compete while living under the attention of cameras.

The programme helped introduce Rishabh to viewers who follow youth-oriented entertainment. His appearance also allowed audiences to learn about his personality beyond a scripted character.

Reality television can create quick public recognition, but maintaining a career afterward requires performers to explore new opportunities. Rishabh used the attention around his reality television appearances as a starting point for other work.

His participation in Splitsvilla remains an important part of his public profile.

MTV Roadies 19

Rishabh was also associated with MTV Roadies 19, another well-known reality television programme. Unlike dating shows, Roadies focuses heavily on physical challenges, group dynamics, decision-making, and competition.

The show requires contestants to face demanding tasks while managing relationships with other participants. Such experiences can test a person’s confidence, patience, and ability to respond under pressure.

His association with both Splitsvilla and Roadies helped establish his name among audiences interested in youth reality television.

These programmes also gave him experience in different forms of unscripted entertainment. That experience became useful as he continued exploring acting and other media projects.

Television Acting

After gaining recognition through reality television, Rishabh began appearing in scripted television programmes. His television credits include Anupamaa and Kundali Bhagya, two shows known for their family drama and emotional storylines.

Working on daily television dramas requires a different set of skills from appearing on a reality show. Actors must understand their characters, deliver dialogue naturally, maintain continuity, and perform scenes according to the needs of the story.

Television productions also demand consistency because episodes are produced regularly. Performers must adapt to changing scripts and work closely with directors, co-actors, and production teams.

Rishabh’s television work allowed him to develop his acting experience and reach viewers who may not have followed his earlier reality television appearances.

Krish Bansal in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

One of Rishabh’s most recognised television roles was Krish Bansal in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The long-running Hindi television drama has a large audience and follows relationships, family conflicts, and changes across generations.

Playing Krish gave Rishabh an opportunity to work on a character with emotional developments and personal challenges. Over time, viewers became familiar with his performance and his place in the show’s story.

In June 2025, Rishabh spoke about how the role had developed and said that he felt ready to take on lead roles. His comments showed his interest in growing beyond the parts he had already played.

In April 2026, he announced that he was leaving Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The announcement surprised some viewers who had become attached to Krish.

In a later interview, Rishabh explained that he felt he had explored a significant part of Krish’s emotional journey. He did not want to remain in a familiar role simply because it was comfortable. Instead, he wanted to discover different characters and take on new creative challenges.

His departure marked a change in his career direction. Rather than continuing indefinitely in the same programme, he chose to explore other opportunities.

Tu Yaa Koi Nahi

In June 2026, Rishabh discussed his involvement in Tu Yaa Koi Nahi, a digital project directed by Ishika Shahi and associated with Director’s Kut Production.

The project was meaningful to him because he had previously worked with the team on Jab Zodiacs Met. He explained that this earlier connection made him interested in the new project when he learned about it.

Rishabh played Ayush, a character described as a good friend who is tough, compassionate, and protective of someone close to him. The character also has a rough edge, giving him more than one side to portray.

The story explores love and emotional connections and includes a plot involving doppelgangers. Rishabh said that the project felt different from his regular television work.

He described the acting style as more subtle and natural than the louder dramatic performances often required in daily television serials. He also discussed an intense sequence in which his character tries to protect the heroine while escaping from a villain.

This project gave Rishabh an opportunity to experiment with a different storytelling format and explore a character outside the setting of a traditional television drama.

Rise & Fall Season 2

In October 2026, Rishabh returned to the reality television space through his reported wildcard entry into Rise & Fall Season 2.

Before the entry was reported, he shared a social media post featuring a card marked “Wild Card.” The post led to speculation about whether he would join Rise & Fall or another reality programme.

Reports published on October 10 confirmed that Rishabh, Jashwanth Bopanna, and Sonam Malik were entering the competition as wildcard contestants.

The show, hosted by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, places contestants in a competitive environment where power, alliances, and challenges affect their position in the game.

Rishabh’s entry brought him back to unscripted entertainment after his work in television drama and digital projects. His previous experience on Splitsvilla and Roadies means he is familiar with the format of reality television.

The wildcard entry is one of the most recent developments in his career as of October 2026. His performance and progress in the competition will depend on the events of the show, so any claims about a final result should be checked against later updates.
