Recognizing the need to build inventories to generate income, he launched Alankit Group, a company that offers a wide range of products and services in the financial and Fintech sectors.
Initially, Alankit Group focused on trading and Registrar and Share Transfer Agent (RTA) services. However, it gradually expanded to include various other financial services. Mr. Agarwal’s business model was based on providing high-quality products and services while accepting smaller profits than his competitors. This strategy led to the company’s steady growth and expansion.
When Mr. Agarwal realized that the company had reached its potential in financial products and services, he diversified into other areas such as e-Governance, insurance broking, and healthcare.
In 2014, Mr. Alok Kumar Agarwal Alankit handed over the company’s day-to-day operations to his son, Mr. Ankit Agarwal. However, he continued to oversee the company until 2021, when he stepped down as Chairman of the Group.
Under his leadership, Alankit Group partnered with several Indian government ministries and expanded its collaborations with the country’s leading nationalized banks.
