Despite the fact that Ajay Bijli belonged to a well-heeled family, he started his career journey at the young age of 22 with Amritsar Transport Co. which was owned by his father. The business was thriving, but Ajay realised that he was clearly not meant for the transport business and that was when he came across his father’s Priya Cinema in Delhi. He decided to run the cinema theatre on his own and that’s how his tryst with the cinemas began!
