Footwear giant Bata recently announced the appointment of its India CEO Sandeep Kataria as the new Global CEO. Taking over Alexis Nasard, who is stepping down after almost five years in the role, Kataria becomes the first Indian to be elevated to the global role of Bata Company.
While this is an unprecedented moment for the multinational footwear company, Kataria too has years of experience in leadership positions which makes him all the more worthy of his new global role.
